INSPIRATIONAL

Susan Klaudt grew up in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, and has been in ministry since 1979. She has traveled the nation as a teacher, guest speaker, and concert artist, and has done extensive humanitarian and mission work with Native Americans.

Susan is also an experienced horsewoman and equestrian. She has owned and ridden American Quarter Horses for more than four decades and is a long-standing member of AQHA (American Quarter Horse Association)

She has trained with top professionals in the performance horse industry and competed successfully with her horses in western pleasure, trail, showmanship, western riding, and halter. Among other notable trainers, she trained with western pleasure trainer, Joe Williams, for three years. Susan also trained with the late western pleasure and performance horse trainer, Waymond Roberts, of Robert's Quarter Horses, for more than fourteen years.

Susan has also conducted numerous Cowboy Churches on horseback. She has performed round-pen demonstrations using horses to teach biblical faith, and has taught fundamental groundwork, riding lessons, and horsemanship skills.

In 1991, along with her husband, Dr. Kim Klaudt, Susan co-founded Kim and Susan Klaudt World Ministries, a non-denominational, non-profit ministerial organization. In 1992, Susan received her Certificate of Ordination from New Beginnings Word Church. In 1999, Susan was granted an Honorary Doctorate Of Divinity from Word of Truth Seminary for her years of excellence in ministry and in recognition of her years of service to the church at large.

In 2010, Susan retired from itinerant (travel) ministry in order to devote time to the development of a long-held vision for a new, innovative, and out of the box equine ministry. Today Susan Klaudt Horse Ministry reaches thousands of readers each month via an online monthly newsletter. You can subscribe to Susan's newsletters on our Contact Page.
